Kootenay Winecrafters is a full service Ferment on Premise. We carry a great variety of wine kits - sourced from so many different regions of the world - and we pride ourselves on being able to offer you a great wine, a great experience, and something to suit your budget. We guarantee that you will be happy with the wine you go home with, if you aren't just let us know and we will make it right.
Kootenay Winecrafters is a full service Ferment on Premise. We carry a great variety of wine kits - sourced from so many different regions of the world - and we pride ourselves on being able to offer you a great wine, a great experience, and something to suit your budget. We guarantee that you will be happy with the wine you go home with, if you aren't just let us know and we will make it right.
It's easy to make your own wine! Give us a few minutes of your time to start the wine, then we will look after it for you until it's ready to bottle. Simply bring in your clean used bottles, and we will help you sanitize the bottles, bottle your wine, cork your wine, choose and apply labels and shrinks - and even help you carry it to the car!

Bubbly
Looking for something bubbly? Let us carbonate your wine for you! We can bubble up your favorite and bottle it in PET bottles or champagne bottles. Let's hear that wine cork pop! We also frequently have an assortment of Ciders in stock, which are terrific bubbled up and bottled in 500 ml PETS.
Barrels
We have two Hungarian Oak barrels in store. If you'd like your Red wine oaked, let us know! Oak barrels really benefit your age-worthy wines. They allow for oxygen exposure, which assists with maturation. They also provide tannins that give the wine structure. Finally, depending on the level of toast and age of the barrel, they may also boost certain oakey flavours.
Water Refills

We have a commercial PurAqua water dispenser on site. Bring in your refillable jugs and purchase your drinking water while you choose your wine! Our water/filter system is maintained regularly and our customers swear we have the best water in town. Prices are great too!
